Description
Specially designed articulated microphone mounting system for the miniDSP UMIK-1, optimized for in-car frequency-response measurements using RTA or REW.ljkihlhijk
The mount was designed, tested, and specifically adapted by me for use inside vehicle interiors. It is ideal for car-audio enthusiasts, sound-quality setups, and precise measurements at the driver or passenger listening position.
The mount is designed to keep the microphone capsule at exactly the same point in space. Measurements can be carried out with the microphone positioned at either 90° or 0°. Both calibration files can therefore be used correctly, ensuring full measurement accuracy.
