Description
12-inch Machete automotive subwoofer, exact D2 dual-voice-coil version with 2+2 ohm coils. Series wiring gives 4 ohm nominal and parallel wiring gives 1 ohm; a single impedance value is intentionally omitted. Manufacturer rating is 1200 W RMS and 2400 W maximum. Uses a 3-inch CCAW voice coil, ferrite motor and paper cone. D4 is a separate variant. Confirm amplifier stability for the chosen wiring and enclosure design; T/S values are not copied from a different coil version.
