The Listener Showcase Built a TPA3255 amp from an Aliexpress board + a 48V/8A SMPS. For ~$70 all-in the numbers are silly: <0.005% THD at 1W, dead quiet noise floor.
Learned to add an inrush limiter after the SMPS made the lights flicker on power-up.
