Teams on Bassilisk
A team gives a group of builders a shared public identity and member list. A moderator approves the team before it becomes public. Joining requires an application, and each account can have one active membership or pending application.

Forum flairs, answers and solved threads
Choose a flair to explain why you are posting, and link a published build when it provides context. The thread author can mark one reply as the answer. Votes, saved threads and the Solved badge serve different purposes.
- How it works
Remix a build
A remix starts a new draft from a published build, carries over selected setup details and credits the original. Add your own content and explain what changed before submitting it for review.

Licences for guides and files
The Build Guide licence states the terms for reuse. Each file can inherit it, use a different licence or follow an external source's terms. Access controls who can read the material; a licence controls what they may do with it.

Showcase and Build Guide
Every build has a Showcase for what you made. Add an optional Build Guide when you want to document how another builder can reproduce it. Each editor holds a different part of the same build.

Keep a build journal
Use the Build Journal to post dated updates after publishing your build. Add a title, notes and optional photos. Updates appear directly in the journal, and you can return to edit or remove them.
- How to do it
Review a build you built
Review another builder's published Build Guide after building or seriously testing the project. Choose whether you would build it again, add your own photos and explain the result, then submit the review for moderation.
- How to do it
Share measurements on your build
Upload a supported measurement export in your Showcase, identify what it measures and record how it was captured. Add the equipment used so readers can interpret the curves and compare frequency-response traces.
- How to do it
Publish your build
Save your build, then submit it for review. A moderator publishes the submitted version or returns it for changes. When you update a published build, the existing public version stays live until the changes are approved.
- How to do it
Add a part to the parts library
The parts library holds reusable parts for builds. Adding your part gives other builders a shared record with its identity, specifications and source links to find and reference after approval.
